Globalchimica srl began operating in 1949, with the production of formulae for phosphating, passivation and surface treatment of metals in the automotive and military fields and in extrusion.
A first diversification took place in 1983 concerning the research, development and production of a comprehensive range of products for coating, waterproofing and protection against corrosion of construction works, such as bridges, viaducts, road planking, aqueducts, tunnels, chemical plants, facings and flat roofing.

The early nineties saw a second diversification with the Company involved in the development of new lines of formulae, concerning the production of RTV2 silicone elastomers and polyurethane elastomers, suitable for manufacturing flexible moulds and matrices, as well as products for the mechanised digging of tunnels and mines.
Continuous research, aimed at optimising the technical features of our formulae, the possibility of carrying out elaborate syntheses (with particular reference to the chemistry of silicone-organic compounds) and considerable flexibility, which allows the formulation of ad hoc products for special requirements, are the cornerstones of Globalchimica srl.
Currently, we are also engaged in the application of nanotechnologies in silicone and polyurethane systems to further enhance their mechanical, chemical and electrical properties.
