RTV2 Globalsil silicone rubbers
RTV2 silicone rubbers are castable silicone elastomers that reticulate at room temperature by the addition of a suitable catalyst.
Owing to their ease of use, combined with high chemical-mechanical properties, they are suitable for making flexible moulds and matrices that allow easy "delivery" (because of the particular anti-adherence features of the silicones), extreme faithfulness in the reproduction of details and, particularly in the reticulatable types by poly-addition, low linear shrinkage.

Materials that can be used in reproduction from silicone rubber matrices:
- Unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins.
- Polyurethane elastomers.
- Natural and synthetic waxes.
- Plasters and cements.
- Low-melting point.
- Imitation wood.
Globalsil AL series (high tear resistance - reticulatable by polycondensation)
Globalsil AL 10: soft (10 shore A). Moulds for making products in polyester, polyurethane and epoxy resin, plaster, wax, etc. Small-sized objects. Moulds for lost-wax foundries. Suitable for "glove peeling" delivery.
Globalsil AL 20: medium hardness (20 shore A). High mechanical properties, suitable for the preparation of moulds with a considerable number of undercuts. Moulds for statues, statuettes, decorative garden articles, rosettes, cornices, imitation wood ornaments, archaeology and paleontology, decorative candles, prototypes, decorative pottery, etc.
Globalsil AL 20-S: medium hardness, suitable for making larger sized matrices than the ones obtainable with Globalsil AL 10 and Globalsil AL 20.
Globalsil AL 40: medium-high hardness (40 shore A), suitable for the reproduction of large-sized matrices.
Globalsil BL series (low tear resistance- reticulatable by polycondensation)
Suitable for making moulds for footwear and technical equipment.
Globalsil BL/TFC: soft (8-10 shore A), very fluid.
Globalsil BL/BVD: low hardness (15 shore A), very fluid.
Globalsil BL/TF: medium-low hardness (15 shore A).
Globalsil BL/TFM: hardness 20 shore A.
Globalsil BL/TD: hardness 25 shore A.
Globalsil BL/TD 30: hard (30 shore A), good dimensional stability also in the reproduction of medium-large-sized products.
Silicone rubbers: other products
Globalsil HTR: fluid, high hardness (45 shore A), reticulatable by polycondensation.
High resistance to heat, suitable for making flexible matrices for the reproduction of small objects in tin, lead and low-percentage alloys.
